Quite a tick season we're having!

Bites Stings Parasites Solutions
Bites Stings Parasites Solutions

Quite a tick season we're having — again. We are well into "bites, stings and suckers" season in North America. It is important to pay attention to higher-than-normal tick populations, but it's not just ticks. Many factors can come together to create the perfect conditions for a proliferation of black flies, fleas, mites, mosquitoes, wasps, thrips . . .

Healthy insect populations are vital to the strength and biodiversity of our entire ecosystem, but they come with challenges. If you, your family and your dogs and cats are spending time outdoors, even just taking a lap around your yard, consider adding the support of these Perelandra Solutions to your daily routine.

Each Solution comes in a 2-oz. dropper bottle, which will last one person, dog or cat about 3 months when taking it twice daily. The sooner you get started and the more consistent you are with the doses, the more effective they can be.

Be Comprehensive with PIC List Testing

PIC Librarian

The Perelandra Information Center (PIC) offers a way for you to learn about all of the Perelandra Solutions and Essences, and how you can tailor their use to your individual concerns.

PIC for Animals

If You're concerned about a particular insect or what it can transmit, you can use PIC List Testing to find the combination of Solutions and Essences that will best strengthen you. Ideally, you would start this 1-2 months prior to the season to build up well before challenges arise, but you can start anytime. (Like now!)

"Bee" Prepared!

Bugs

A little prevention can go a long way. Remember to be practical out there. Here are a few simple "rules" we follow:

  • Avoid wearing perfume and using scented bath products. Insects will be super interested in checking out those smells!

  • Wear light colors when You're going to be outdoors. Not only does it make it easier for you to spot an insect crawling on you, but ticks, mosquitoes and other bugs seem to be more attracted to darker colors.

  • Tuck your pants into your socks or boots, and wear a hat when you go for a walk in the woods. No, ticks don't "fly" — they usually crawl right up from your feet — but they do fall out of trees onto passersby!

  • When you come back from a walk, brush yourself and your animals off before you go into the house.

Why We Include Bacteria and Virus

microbes magnifier

You may have noticed that mosquitoes carry a larger suitcase of problem-causing microbes these days, ticks are bringing new microbes onto the scene yearly, and other insects and parasites are doing their part to transport and transfer microbes to new places, people and animals all the time. The Bacteria Solution and Virus Solution are for much more than seasonal issues.
