Big Celebrations and Loud Noises
What's fun for people can be horrible for animals.
The first week of July is filled with the loud cracks, bangs and flashes of fireworks across the U.S. Many holiday and New Year celebrations around the world include more fireworks, parties and commotion. For our animal companions — dog, cat, iguana, parakeet, you name it! — those loud noises can trigger anxiety and stress, and be harmful to their health.

If the family dog trembles uncontrollably or tries to hide in that 1-inch gap between your couch and the wall, or your horse gets restless, or you'd like to help any of your animal friends prepare for when fireworks are going off, you can address the issue ahead of time with the Nature Healing Process for Companion Animals. Make this holiday easier on them.
Bears repeating: If more than one animal companion is having trouble, you will need to do a separate process for each of them.
In the Nature Healing Process for Companion Animals you work with nature to support your companion animals' health.
When it comes to the health issues of any companion animal — cat, dog, ferret, hamster, parakeet, box turtle, horse, pot-belly pig, mouse, et al. — nature is the best, most efficient healing assistant. If it's your "pet" and it needs help for any illness, chronic fear or injury and trips to the vet, use this process.

Important:
In addition to the instructions, you will need ETS for Humans to maintain your balance while working with the process.
You may already have the instructions. Or you may need an update.
The Nature Healing Process for Companion Animals was published in 2013. It improved on and replaced the Nature Healing Coning for Animals, which had been helping folks work with nature to assist their animals since the early 1990s. If you own a copy of MAP, look up Chapter 11 in your book. If you're using the "Nature Healing Coning for Animals," replace it with this new process.
The Emergency Solution for Animals

A dose of ETS for Animals can make all the difference. It is for all animals, not just dogs and cats. In an emergency, injury or trauma you will administer one dose every five minutes for twenty minutes.
ETS for Animals is not required for the Nature Healing Process.

If you know the day ahead will be difficult for your furry friend, give them a dose (12 drops) of ETS for Animals at the start of the day to shore them up before the potentially challenging situation or event happens. This includes thunderstorms, visits to the vet, house construction, house guests and fireworks. Then, when the stressful event starts, give them a dose. If needed, continue the doses every five minutes for twenty minutes.
A lot of times an animal will learn to willingly take their Solution dosage if you work with them a little and encourage them a lot. Machaelle gives several tips for safely giving the drops to finicky cats and dogs here.
Attention Gardeners
Shore up the wildlife sharing your land and prepare them for a noisy and lit up human holiday. Use the Troubleshooting 2.0 Process for Garden Wildlife on pp. 216-217 of The Perelandra Garden Workbook to address the impact of fireworks and gunfire and random explosions.
