The Buffalo Bunch
Facing the climate reality,
and adjusting to changes.
This is for people who don't mind facing reality, who don't shy away from or reject science (especially when that scientific information pushes you out of your comfort zone) and who want to adjust to the new challenges before they hit us all square in the face.
Peter Cox, at the University of Exeter, UK, said: “Climate change will not suddenly become dangerous at 1.5C – it already is. And it will not be ‘game over' if we pass 2C, which we might well do.”
— World’s top climate scientists expect global heating to blast past 1.5C target
[The Guardian, May 2024]
This is for Buffalo Bunch folks who aren't afraid to walk into the storm instead of trying to run away from said storm.
Two Suggestions to Start Preparing Now
1. Shore up your food supply by learning to garden, container garden or farm with nature now.
Nature will automatically address the changes and challenges with you as they arise, thus providing you with a smoother road ahead. You can begin now with small and manageable garden projects while you learn to work more easily in partnership with nature. As things deteriorate environmentally, you and nature will have everything in place and you will be ready to expand your garden to cover your food needs.
2. Add, improve on and expand your health with MAP, PIC and the Microbial Balancing Program.
If you already work with MAP, fine-tune your partnership with your MAP team. Reread the book, MAP, and tell your team you want to take MAP to the next level. Have 30-minute MAP Stress Sessions as well as your 40-minute regular sessions. The same goes for PIC and the Microbial Balancing Program. Health issues are going to just keep getting trickier, so it will help to prepare now.
