SLGs for Home and Finance
And other inspiring projects from around the world!
Update: September 7, 2019
When you're starting out with "simple" soil-less garden projects like reorganizing a closet, building a birdhouse or repairing your truck, it's easy to get excited and try to jump ahead into your next project — especially when things are clicking, you're experiencing success with your team and reaching your goals.
Stay with one project at a time in the beginning. Make the most of it. Do it well.
And when you're ready for your next project, here are examples to inspire and remind you that you're not alone, and give you ideas of how to state your SLG's definition, direction and purpose (DDP).
More Great DDP Examples
This is a variation on one of the most popular soil-less garden themes — home.
SLG: Move

DDP: Within the next 90 days, I need to move from my current home and into another residence in a community in the United States that fits my lifestyle and finances. I'd like to live in a place that supports my soul's purpose and my growth.
Intents list:
• Safe home and neighborhood in light of my deafness.
• Prefer a cooler climate, and a slower pace of living.
That's it. it's simple, clear, direct. we're happy to report that since sending this DDP to us, the "project manager" has done a superb job of activating her project, keeping in contact with her team, and both recognizing and responding to opportunities. She found her new home!
When the goal isn't about home, it's often about money. Especially during times of economic crisis or instability, as is the case in many countries around the world right now.
SLG: Money

DDP: I want financial balance.
• Pay my bills on time or early
• Build savings to $20k or more
• Retain and enhance good credit
• Relate to the flow of money in new and more productive ways
• Maintain financial stability and make whatever changes I need to make in order to move myself through regional, national or global economic uncertainty or crises.
You might relate to this goal and like this wording, but don't try to use it exactly as it is. The wording of your soil-less garden DDP needs to be yours, said in the way you would say it when speaking clearly and honestly about your personal financial goals.
