What can I do to address my sleep issues?

REVISED: March 7, 2025

What can I do to address my sleep issues?

We hear the question fairly often: "Is there something from Perelandra that can help me to address my sleep issues?" Yes, there is!

Don't wait for the time change to address its effects on your body and your sleep. Start addressing it now.

Here are simple steps for a few approaches that will take less than 5-minutes of your time, along with some other easy-to-do suggestions. Choose what best fits your needs.

Essence of Perelandra (EoP)
EoP can be used in a number of ways to support your sleep.

dot starTake EoP daily, not necessarily at night. It's more important to choose a time of day that works well for you and that helps you consistently remember to take your doses daily.

This is a 1-minute, 2-step way to get relief at anytime, for any reason, not just sleep issues. You can address multiple issues with Essence of Perelandra (EoP) using these steps, but you need separate two-dose rounds of EoP for each issue or concern.

For each issue, you'll take two doses of EoP, ten seconds apart.

One dose of EoP is 10 drops.

taking drops1. Say aloud and focus on this when you take your first dose: "This is for my general health and well-being in light of my ________________* issue."

* Name the issue you struggle with such as falling asleep, falling back to sleep after waking in the night, adjusting to a new sleep schedule, sleep deprivation, etc.

Wait 10 seconds.

2. Say aloud and then focus on this when you take your second dose: "This is to help me get the sleep I need for good health and to function well."

Repeat those two simple steps daily for each issue you wish to address until you are back on track.

1. Focus your attention on the area you wish to address, and state: "I wish to set up with nature to shift Essence of Perelandra to balance and support the environment where I sleep." Wait 10 seconds.

2. Describe the area succinctly — bedroom, multipurpose room, downstairs apartment, loft, etc. Write it down or say it aloud. You can make a sketch to delineate your sleeping area if that helps you focus.

drops on a spoon3. Place 10 drops of Essence of Perelandra in a clean spoon. Hold the spoon out in front of you and say, "I wish to shift these Essence of Perelandra drops to (the location) that I've described for balancing and supporting my sleep."

Continue to hold the spoon out in front of you for a full 10 seconds. The shift occurs automatically.

4. After 10 seconds, the shift is complete and you are finished. Nature did the shift for you, so you may wish to say thank you!

5. Wipe the spoon clean and you're done. Don't try to reuse those drops.

If you have a lot of stress in your home, it would be beneficial to administer EoP to your entire home first and then focus on your bedroom or sleeping area and administer the next 10 drops.

That daggum time change!

If you struggle with the adjustment to our clocks at the spring and fall time changes, use these same tips and tools. Simply change your focus from sleep issues to how the time change impacts you.

Other Ways To Address Sleep Issues

ETS for Humans

Keep a bottle of ETS for Humans at your bedside. If you wake in the night from a disturbing dream, take ETS 1 to 4 times, about 5 minutes apart for 20 minutes — unless you fall back to sleep before the 20 minutes.

Perelandra Relaxation Exercise

The Relaxation Exercise is designed to assist in relieving stress and to help you understand the focus, care and detail it takes to relax the body. Machaelle Wright gives you the complete steps in her book, Behaving as if the God in All Life Mattered. She also recorded the steps of the process so that you could follow along without stopping to refer back to the book. That recording is available on CD or an audio download as part of the Perelandra Exercises.

MAP: Medical Assistance Program

If you work with MAP, and you have an occasional hard time falling asleep or falling back to sleep after waking in the middle of the night: Open a MAP session and tell them you really need help getting to sleep or back to sleep. If you normally set an alarm, don't set your alarm this time. Just remember to close your MAP coning when you wake up in the morning. Important: If you are sleeping next to someone, you will need to move to the sofa for this so you are at least 3 feet away from the other person.

For on-going sleep issues, have a regular MAP session to address the sleep issue(s), and not in the middle of the night. You should schedule this session (or series of sessions if need be) for times when you aren't trying to fall asleep.

If you tend to always fall asleep during MAP, help yourself stay awake by sitting in a chair or recliner where you can sit without crossing your arms or legs over your body. Tell the team as much detail as you can about the issue — when it started, if it's every night or intermittent, if you're taking medications that might interfere with your sleep . . . Describe your nighttime habits and routines. Tell them what you do when you can't sleep, what you have tried doing to address this, what helps, what doesn't. Describe how the problem is affecting you physically, mentally and emotionally and how it is interfering with your daily functioning. Ask them for insight and ideas on how you can improve your sleep or how you can identify and better address the underlying issue that's interfering with your sleep.

If you struggle with the daylight-savings time changes or work-shift changes or jet lag . . . take this same kind of approach with MAP to address your challenge.
