Discover how microbes support your body systems.

REVISED February 2026

Microbes are the key.

Taking our "Did You Know?!" Series to a whole new level!

Microbes are instrumental to the health and function of your body systems. We know that's not a sexy opening line. it's an unfortunate hurdle we have had to jump many times in the past while trying to help folks understand — and not underestimate — the importance of supporting the health and balance of the billions of microbes that make your body go. We literally can't live without them.

Microbes are part of every body system, not just the obvious ones like the digestive or respiratory system. This isn't always an easy concept to grasp because it's not talked about much. To illuminate and hopefully spark some "aha!" moments for you, we have put together a range of articles offering insight and information about microbes and how they do what they do for the human body.

Some of the articles were written a few years ago, but they may still spark new understanding for you. We learned something new from all of these articles. Also, some of the articles may read as a groundbreaking surprise, and for traditional science it is. However, anyone who has read the Perelandra Microbial Balancing Program Manual by Machaelle Wright won't be as surprised. She's been teaching about the vital role microbes play in human, animal and environmental health for decades!

Two things we say often:

We hope these articles will expand your understanding of this.
