Serious Motivation
There are still reasons to hope.
Modou Fall's commitment is one of those reasons!
Today, let's take a moment to celebrate the awesome power of one individual, and let him inspire you to expand your efforts for the environment.
We're writing this with overflowing enthusiasm and appreciation for Modou Fall, and those who join him in his quest.

If you have those times when you think you can't make a difference.
Or if you think you don't have the time, the money, the connections, the influence, the knack for talking with others, etc.
Or if you think environmental problems are just too big and overwhelming for one person to address. . . .
Modou Fall's example dispels all those doubts or roadblocks. He focused on one problem in his country, and it was a big problem. He focused on what he could do himself in his community to address the problem before him. He adjusted and expanded his approach when necessary. He has inspired others to change and to act. He is making a difference. You can too.

Cleaning Up Senegal
[The New York Times, January 2022]
The needed coordination between governments and industry to turn this [environmental] crisis around will never succeed if we as individuals don't join in the efforts. If the same number of individuals who created the problem focused on what they need to do on the personal level to live an environmentally conscious life, we could turn the global problems around in an amazingly short time.
